We waited a very long time for the waitress to remove our dinner dishes. We both noticed the SMALL shrimp were white. ![]() My husband's risotto was warmer than mine. For diner we had the lobster - shrimp risotto and stuffed salmon. They did not clean or chill appropriately. NOT cold even though they were served on ice. My daughter enjoyed her salmon tartare, they oysters were tiny and cool. We ordered coquet shrimp, salmon tartare and oysters. the woman who seated us was taking out garbage, took off her rubber gloves, and then seated us. Our last night in Tampa and we found this online. It has a private dining room adjacent to the main dining room, both have lovely views over the water of the bay. The restaurant is quite smart: an old-world interior and (required to use) valet parking on arrival. On trying the chicken and waffle, I was glad I hadn’t ordered this for my meal - I didn’t love the waffle batter in flavour or texture. The brunch platter is really big a nice selection of breakfast, meat and seafood, with a nice salad too. On our table, we also tried some breakfast items, the conch fritters, some other salads, and the brunch platter for two. (although slightly different each visit) generous portion of seafood, really nice salad leaves and dressing - a big salad, enough to make it a decent entree. Had the lobster, shrimp and mango salad on both visits - really good salad both times. Our brunch eats began with their rendition of Conch Fritters with a very, very good Piña Colada Sauce along with Lime and Cilantro – I should have had two orders! Then we went on to our breakfast end and my Wife’s well put together Eggs and beautifully browned Sausage, and my incredible serving of their Hangover Hash… which was terrific! They braised super tender strips of Prime Rib with nice buttery mashed potatoes, a perfectly poached egg and some very good Hollandaise sauce. We decided to stop in for a late morning brunch and we were glad we did. Their replication of service, atmosphere, and foods are. Since having lived in Florida for many years, I had never had the opportunity when living there to try out this Tampa eatery, I’d only often frequented their location at Key Biscayne.
